FCMG London Children’s Choir -
The Choirs

The choirs provide singing opportunities for youth and teenagers as well as school children

There are four choirs for children aged 4 - 18 years:

The Senior and Chamber Choirs are the principal performing choirs, but there are also performance opportunities for younger children. More pictures of the choirs are available on our Pictures page.

Beginners (from 4 years)

Children are introduced to singing through fun activities designed to stimulate their listening, pitch and rhythm awareness.

London Youth Choir - Intermediate Choir

Intermediate (from 7 years)

Progress is made in vocal production, and musical skills are developed through part-singing and an exciting and varied repertoire.

Senior (up to 18 years)

Musical and vocal skills are at the required standard for professional choral engagements. A diverse and challenging repertoire reflects the busy concert schedule that this choir attracts. Entry to the Senior Choir is by audition.

Chamber Choir (15-18 years)

Choral chamber works are performed by the older girls together with young tenors and basses. Small ensemble works for the upper voices only explore repertoire from the 16th century to the present day.
